Erick Jon started his singing career already at age of 15 in his homeland Cuba by having music shows at different festivals, radio stations and televion. He has performed with very remarkable Cubans and other foreigner musicians but also studied music by their help. In the beginning of 1997, Erick Jon came to Finland at age of 20. He has had music shows with different salsa groups and also sang boleros with smaller music group. At this moment, Erick is stydying singing and piano at the Helsinki Pop and Jazz Conservatory. |

| After creating music in Spain and Sweden, Erick Jon decided to take part in Finland to Popstars 2-competition and he was very noted in Finnish media because of his charming personality but the most of all, because of his exotic, wonderful singing voice. In the beginning of year 2005, Erick Jon started co-operation with Mwamba Records and producer Miikka “Mwamba” Kari. The first single to be published will be “Sheke Sheke”. This new cool duet, called “Braze”, consist of sisters with wild hip-hop flavah sound. The history of Braze goes to sound experiment with Miikka “Mwamba” Kari in year 2004, that achieved the first, very gripping song “Witching hour”. And there will be a lot of more to come, so check our music section often to keep you updated!

| Utopia (22) is a founder of Hipholiks, the most known hip hop act in Lohja, Finland. He's been in the game for five years now, and is working on his solo project. "Aika käy", featuring Sara and his Hipholiks partner Tekevä, is a taster from his upcoming album. | D Knob is one of the wickedest Tanzanian hip hop mcs around. After shaking the country with his hit singles such as "Usiniache" and "Sema ndiyo", he returned to give a lesson or two, to the real hip hop heads with "Elimu mitaani". This song was, and still is, a huge hit in East Africa, and it will be soon released in Europe included in Mwamba Records' upcoming compilation album.

Mad Ice is one of the most noticeable young singers in East African music field. His musical career started in the town of Mwanza performing raggamuffing on talent show events, until he got himself to Dar Es Salaam, where he started singing copyright music in hotels and clubs. Meanwhile he was composing his own songs as well, and finally in year 2003, he finished his debut album, "Baby Gal", produced by Miikka "Mwamba" Kari. The album includes bunch of masterpieces, |

| sung in swahili, english and ganda, with musical styles ranging from soca beats to african rhythms, through touches of soul, ragga, hip hop and techno. The title song “Baby Gal” was holding the number one position for months in radio charts throughout Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in 2003.
The album "Mad Ice", freshly remixed and updated with some very new hit pieces will be available at stores starting in February 2005. The album is full of impressive, rhythmic songs with motional lyrics. The older songs of the album have already done a great impact in East-African region, it might do so even in your neighbourhood! |

| Miikka “Mwamba” Kari | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Miikka “Mwamba” Kari is the man behind Mwamba Productions and one of the masterminds of Mwamba Records. He started his career in Finland doing music and sound design works for TV, theater, dance productions etc. |

| At the same time he was working as a freelance sound engineer (studio and field sound). In 1999 he moved to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and worked there as a music producer till 2004. He played a big role in the uprising of Tanzanian Hip-Hop and urban music (Bongo Flava). He produced piles of top ten hits, and his work has helped many of the young artists to break through and make their living with music in Tanzania. Miikka “Mwamba” Kari even got awarded as a best producer of Tanzania 2002 (Kilimanjaro music awards of Tanzania).
